Rhino responds to S.O.S.

The UK’s leading manufacturer of roof racks, bars and commercial vehicle accessories – Rhino Products – are pleased to have lent a helping hand to the hard-working crew of BBC’s DIY SOS, donating a brand new Aluminium Rack.

Rhino Products’ stockist, VANRAX Salisbury had previously supplied a Rhino Modular Rack to one of the production’s vans, and were recently asked to supply a second rack.  Clive Boult, Sales & Marketing Director for Rhino Products couldn’t resist the opportunity to help Nick Knowles and the team, who issue a call to arms and recruit friends, family and local trades to help transform the homes of families across Britain.

Clive outlines “We occasionally catch a glimpse of our Modular Rack on the DIY SOS van, and now we may see our latest innovation on the second van!  The Aluminium Rack has a contemporary design which enhances the appearance of any commercial vehicle.  Furthermore it’s strong, reliable; designed and built for purpose!”

“It’s heart-warming to see how everyone comes together to help on DIY SOS, giving their time and materials to transform homes of families across Britain, and if another of our racks can bear some more of that load, then we’ll be exceptionally proud.” concludes Clive.

Carefully constructed the Aluminium Rack uses highly robust aluminium material which is lightweight, corrosion resistant and durable. It comes complete with an integrated, full width stainless steel rear roller. The track allows for optimisation of cross-tube positioning to suit the needs of the user, in addition to aerodynamic cross-tubes that reduce wind noise and drag.

Rhino Products’ Aluminium Rack was fitted to DIY SOS’s VW Transporter T5 by VANRAX Salisbury earlier this month, and is already being used in filming for episodes due to air in the early-Summer.
