We are very pleased to announce that products are now available for the brand-new Ford Transit Custom - International Van of the Year 2013.
The Ford Transit Custom won the International Van of the Year award 2013, scoring 117 points out of a possible 133 available. The most prestigious award in the light commercial vehicle sector is presented annually to the van which, in the opinion of the 24 judges, makes the most significant contribution to the efficient carriage of goods by road, to safety and to sustainability.
It follows in the footsteps of the Ford Transit (2001), Ford Transit Connect (2003) and Ford Transit (2007) to register a record-breaking fourth win for the Ford Transit family in the award's 22-year history.
Even before the Transit Custom went on sale, it would have been driven the equivalent of three million miles. Key components and systems are tested to the limit: for example, doors go through an intensive regime of 250,000 slam cycles, which is three times more punishing than Ford's equivalent passenger car test.
We've taken the time to full develop and test products specifically for this model and present our Delta Bars, Aluminium Rack and a wide range of accessories including the Pipe Tube, LadderStow and SafeClamp as available to order from our Official Stockists throughout the UK. The Modular Rack is available for pre-order, before it's officially released on the 21st January 2013.
